Well hello there and welcome to post number one!
I’ve very excited to be writing my first post. I’ve been thinking about this day for weeks, months, years! It seemed only fitting that my first post was a classic, something that my husband loves above all other baked good (besides carrot cake) BANANA BREAD.
This isn’t your average banana bread, this is Oatie Banana Bread. The addition of oat flour not only makes the bread have a high fiber content – keeping you fuller longer. It also can lighten heavy textured baked goods, think bran muffins, zucchini bread and yes banana breads. It also tends to make baked goods have higher moisture than regular wheat flour. This makes it a great add to quick breads and cookies.
