Traditional, creamy, dreamy horchata. This is my first non alcoholic drink post! Don’t get me wrong you can add an ounce or two of rum to this and make something great even better but for now let’s focus on plain horchata.
Well hello there! It sure has been a long time since I posted a new recipe… 8 days.
I’m sorry for being so MIA. If you follow my social media you know Chris and I spent 5 days in Spain last week. Which was tons of fun and I’m completely tapas-ed out!
The day we flew back home I came down with a bad sinus infection – sadly this is something that’s pretty common for me. So long sad story short I’ve spent that last few days laying on the couch with hot compresses over my face ?. I am however, happy to report I feel much better today. Which means I’ve been in the kitchen experimenting. Hopefully I can make some interesting and tasty things to share with all of you!
Happy Tacos… er… I mean Tuesday.
Happy Taco Tuesday! ?
These ladies and gents – these tacos are devine. Carnitas are definitely the king of taco truck. Hands down, no questions asked. Just saying the word conjures up visions of succulent, fall apart meat with crispy well done edges being placed onto a corn tortilla and topped the diced white onions… YUM! Images like that are enough to make even the strictest vegetarian’s mouth water!
We did it, it’s Friday!
Not only Friday, but the first Friday of 2017 and that means the first week of 2017 is done and over. Did you stick to your resolutions? Are you excited to sweep 2016 into the past and start 2017 anew? If you’re anything like me the answer to the first question is sort of and the second question is YES!
In 2017 I’m planning on doing much more of what I love (like creating recipes) and much less of what I don’t (like being a stressed worry wort).
